In focus: Dr.-Ing. Benedikt Echterhoff, Head of Spare Parts at Dürkopp Adler
As Head of Spare Parts, Benedikt Echterhoff has been responsible for the strategic direction
and the development of the spare and consumable part business since April 2018.
Born in East-Westphalia, he previously worked at the Heinz Nixdorf Institute and studied
industrial engineering, specialising in mechanical engineering, in Paderborn, Stuttgart and Qingdao
(China).
His newly structured department focuses on providing excellent customer service in spare and
consumable parts. Market-oriented pricing, preparation and provision of customer-friendly
information material as well as reducing throughput times of order and operational processes in the
spare parts sector are current key activities.
Early in 2019, Mr Echterhoff published a new digital edition of the hook catalogue. The
opportunity to interactively navigate the intuitive structure and the many images best supports the
customer in finding the desired product. The catalogue is available on our homepage for download [

and is constantly updated and expanded.
Proximity to customers, premium quality and excellent service have remained Dürkopp Adler AG’s
most important aims since being founded more than 150 years ago. For this, the company holds more
than 35,000 replacement parts in stock, in order to guarantee constant availability of its machines
for its customer base.
