ShangGong Group acquires majority at Richpeace

In August 2018, ShangGong Group, mother company of Dürkopp Adler Group, has taken over the majority of Chinese Tianjin Richpeace Computer & Machinery Co., Ltd.
Core business of Richpeace are CNC controlled sewing units, embroidery machines, laser cutters, textile printing and ironing machines, as well as CAD software and electronic controls.

The company was founded in 2006, has approx.. 700 employees in 7 locations and has its headquarter in the development zone Tianjin Baodi near Beijing. With more than 300 patents and 30 software copyrights Richpeace is one of the technology leaders of the textile machine sector in China.


By this company portfolio extension, ShangGong group customers now find nearly all machines and production units of the textile value chain under one roof.
This is the reason why Mr. Zhang Min, Chairman and President of ShangGong Group and Mr. Li Jing Ning, General Manager of Tianjin Richpeace see very good perspectives and synergy for the future by this merger.

“This gives also Dürkopp Adler Group a great new potential to offer complete industry 4.0 under from a single source to our customers beyond sewing and textile welding machines”, says Dietrich Eickhoff, Chairman of the Board of Dürkopp Adler AG. “Then, production progress from digital textile printing through cutting to sewing can be monitored and steered by our digitized machine network systems. That is how we support individualized mass production”.
