IACDE visited Dürkopp Adler

The annual general meeting of the IACDE association (International Association of Clothing Designers and Executives) of the German Chapter founded in 1910 was held in Bielefeld from January 29 ^th to 31 ^st, 2015.

The IACDE is an internationally operating professional platform for designers, constructors, technical engineers, executives (mainly COOs) and suppliers of the clothing industry. The organisation brings together the world’s most talented executives of the clothing sector to form a global network of the branch leaders.

On January 30 ^th , 2015, the approx. 80 participants of the annual meeting (Hugo Boss, Tailor Hoff, Holy Fashion Group and many others) took the opportunity to pay a visit to the headquarters of the largest European manufacturer of industrial sewing machines.

On a tour through the production halls the IACDE members got an impression of the highly sophisticated production of high-tech industrial sewing machines. This was followed by a lively and interesting discussion about the current topics of the branch as well as by a visit to the showroom combined with a presentation of the leading sewing technology available on the market at present.

The visit of the IACDE association to Dürkopp Adler was an interesting event which has given us important impulses for the development of new products for our customers.
