Highest award for Dürkopp Adler SRL by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Romania

S.C. DÜRKOPP ADLER S.R.L  Romania (DARO), a subsidiary company of  Dürkopp Adler AG,  has been honoured by the Romanian Chamber of Industry and Commerce with the first place of the 2013 TOP 100 of its branch for the fifth time in succession. On November 14 ^th, 2014, the managing director Dipl.Ing. Johann Hemann accepted the award with pride and joy.

In 1997 DARO started production with 112 employees only. The number of staff members increased up to 400 in 2008. Dürkopp Adler Romania recovered very quickly from the global economic crisis beginning at that time and the resulting staff reduction , which was followed by a continuous rise in turnover of 10 – 20% per year. By the end of 2014 Dürkopp Adler Romania will achieve a further increase of 20% in comparison to the preceding year.

This success is due to the expansion of the company by the acquisition of two competitors on the one hand and to the high quality awareness and constant new investments on the other hand. The aim is to guarantee the continually increasing order volume and the diversification of the product portfolio also in future.

 „The investment volume for automated machines has grown on the market  in order to improve productivity and product quality. We have realized increasements on the sectors garments, shoe production, leather goods and upholstery.“ The sales manager Ion Bârlean is convinced of the upswing of markets and the managing director Dipl.Ing. Johann Hermann is optimistic about the future, too.
