Trainees visit trade association

The trainees of Dürkopp Adler AG as well as the Koop trainees of the first training year visited the “Educational Institution of the Trade Association Linowsee” from October 12 ^th to 14 ^th, 2015. At 6 o`clock on Monday morning they started their approx. 450 km long journey by bus. Once arrived, they occupied their rooms and had their first lunch. Afterwards the seminar program started on the subject “Safety at work for trainees”. Here practice-oriented topics as e.g. the dangers caused by electric current, handling of hazardous substances and cooling lubricants, machine protection and the safe handling of electrical conductors are dealt with. This does not primarily mean the memorizing of paragraphs, but the aim is to sensitize the young apprentices by means of real-life examples to work in their everyday professional life in such a way that workplace accidents are avoided.
